Dr. Todd M. Retell
Dr. Retell graduated from Starpoint Central High School in 1980. He then enrolled at the University of Rochester and received a B.S. in Neuroscience with Highest Distinction in 1984. He continued on to receive a D.D.S. in Dentistry in 1988 while attending S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. He practices all phases of General Dentistry and has been extensively educated in aesthetic dentistry (including Botox, whitening, bonding and porcelain veneers). Dr. Retell resides with his wife Sandra and sons Corey and Connor in Lockport. His interests include most sports (especially golf), music and his family.
Dr. James M. Shaw
Dr. Shaw is a lifelong resident of Lockport. He graduated from DeSales High School in 1972 and completed his undergraduate training at Canisius College. Dr. Shaw graduated Magna Cum Laude from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 1980 and completed a general practice residency at Veteran's Hospital in Buffalo the following year. Dr. Shaw's post-graduate training included extensive courses in implant dentistry. He currently is the dental consultant for Niagara Hospice and Briody's Health Care Facility. Dr. Shaw resides in Lockport with his wife Julia. He has two children, Luke and Eilise, and two step children, Hannah and Sarah. Dr. Shaw hopes to see the Buffalo Bills win a Super Bowl in his lifetime.
Dr. Stephen C. Stockton
Dr. Stockton graduated from Lockport Senior High School in 1968. He then entered Ohio State University for undergraduate training and received his B.S. degree in Biology with honors in 1972. Dr. Stockton graduated from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine in 1976. He then entered private practice with Dr. Richard Zimmer in Medina, N.Y. In 1980, Doctors Stockton and Zimmer, together with Dr. A. Edward Gay, established Lockport Dental Group and Medina Dental Group. Dr. Stockton practices all phases of general dentistry. He is a lifelong resident of Lockport. Dr. Stockton and his wife Karen have two children, Shannon and Jonathan. His outside interests include boating, bicycling and snow skiing.
Dr. William L. Langton
Dr. Langton graduated in 1984 from DeSales High School as valedictorian. He then attended St. Bonaventure University, where he received a B.S. in Biology, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1988. After graduating in 1992 from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, he entered a general practice residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Care in Syracuse, New York. There he received training in hospital and general dentistry. His interests include sports, camping and fishing.
Dr. Robert C. Geckler
Dr. Geckler has practiced his entire dental career in Lockport, New York. He graduated from Amherst Central High School, received his B.A. in Biology in 1954 and his D.D.S. in Dentistry in 1961. During this time he served in the U.S. Army and received his Letter of Commendation in 1957. Dr. Geckler joined Lockport Dental Group in July 2007 and currently holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor in Periodontics and Endodontics at S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Geckler has two sons, Jeffrey and James, and is active at his parish, St. John the Baptist. One of his passions includes magic.
